InfoZoomer features list
InfoZoomer provides you with a zooming map where you can:
1. Dispose great number of fields in any order with the information of the following type:
- text
- image in the JPG, BMP, EMF, ICO, TIF, PCX, WIN, GIF, PIC, FAX, RGB, PNG and 23 other graphic formats
- file path
- catalog path
- web-link
- e-mail address
- program file
- event remainder
The field size is practically unlimited and may be filled in any format. The corresponding link or path is engaged by a click on the field.
2. View fields and zones on the map in a various scale using comfortable smooth zooming by mouse wheel or momentary moving into selected scale by commands. With this an amount of visible information varies for optimization of visual perception. It is similar to observation from the helicopter. Small-sized details of landscape are not visible from large height, but the large panorama is perfect.
3. Group the information fields on the basis of contiguity (figuratively speaking - "adhering fields") and by means of a zones on the map. It is possible to operate with such groups of fields as with self-dependent objects.
4. Arrange, move or copy fields and their groups by using mouse drag'n'drop or keyboard shortcuts.
5. Be reminded of an important date or vital events even if InfoZoomer is not launched. Small separate reminder program - "Alarm" will notify you in advance about all your reminders. Moreover the Alarm program provides urgent input of notes with keyboard shortcuts.
6. Output any part of the work map to Windows Desktop as wallpaper. One can set various transparency degree of the image.
7. Find necessary information on the map by simple and comfortable way. As the result of a search only proper information objects remain on the map and others temporarily become invisible.
8. To assign an image as a background of zone on the map - for example it can be a map or scheme of a location. And then it is possible to allocate a various information fields over this image.
9. Customize and configure easily a font face, size and color of any fields and zones on the map, both for each field and common default value.
10. Customize and store patterns of the fields groups in order to fast get theirs copies afterwards by one-click. This feature is used for creating collections of frequently used or relatively complicated fields groups, consisting of a number of fields.
11. Import the file links and images by using mouse drag'n'drop or keyboard shortcuts.
12. Export the text from a lot of selected fields by one copy/paste operation.
13. Open and work with a several maps at one time.
14. Specify Author of the map and its some individual properties.
15. Store the map in compressed format to reduce its size on disk (by fast and reliable ZIP-method).
